At the end of 2009, Gian-Carlo Pascutto was so kind to provide a special version of his go bot "Leela" for me and the Potsdam group at HPI, which could play games on 37x37 board. At short thinking times Leela seemd to be overwhelmed by all the possible moves that it followed a rather strict "anti-tenuki" strategy: in almost every turn it played very near to the previous opponent's move. Of course, such behaviour makes it rather impossible to design nice pictures.
Gian-Carlo Pascutto war Ende 2009 so freundlich, mir und den Postdamern am HPI eine Version seines Programms Leela für das 37x37-Brett zur Verfügung zu stellen. Bei kurzer Bedenkzeit scheint Leela aber so sehr von den vielen Möglichkeiten überwältigt zu sein, dass es sich in fast jedem Einzelzug an den letzten Stein des Gegners hängt. Natürlich kann man dagegen kaum erfolgreich Bilder-Go spielen.
